Thanksgiving Weekend

This weekend was a pretty busy weekend for us. We normally have pretty packed weekends which include dinner or entertaining friends, housework, and church activities. This weekend was extra-packed with food, fun, and more food! Read on.

For Thanksgiving, we decided to split up the celebration between Sacramento and Grass Valley, as we normally do. First top on Thursday was the Jang house in Sacramento. We got up early in the morning, loaded up Michelle's old twin bed (that she's used since she lived at home) into Cory's truck and headed north-east.

Austin and Jess wanted to take Aaron and the dogs to the park nearby, so we loaded up the stroller, grabbed Jade's ball chucker, and took a stroll. Here's some pictures of the fun that we had at the park:

After the park we went home and got ready for Thanksgiving dinner at Auntie Chris' and Uncle David's house. Michelle was so distracted with how wonderful the food looked/smelled/tasted that she failed to take pictures of it and the five different types of desserts that materialized shortly after dinner. Laurie made some great stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and we ate so many that we were almost full by the time dinner was ready... almost.

The next day the family went to the train museum in Old Sacramento. Phil and Jeanny took Michelle's camera and ran around the museum with the super-wide angle lens. Here are some pictures they took:

After the train museum we went up to Grass Valley to spend the rest of the weekend with the Divers family. We relaxed on Friday and went wine tasting on Saturday:

Overall, it was a wonderful weekend and we had a great time hanging out with both the Jang and Divers families!
